Trump Administration Fires Director Of NSA

The Trump administration has dismissed General Timothy Haugh, who served as the Director and Deputy Director of the National Security Agency (NSA). General Haugh also held the position of Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing the military’s offensive and defensive cyber operations.
Lieutenant General William Hartman, a deputy at Cyber Command, is anticipated to take on the role of Acting Director of the NSA.
Additionally, Wendy Noble, General Haugh's deputy at the NSA, has been terminated, along with several other personnel from the National Security Council, who were also dismissed on Thursday.
