New England Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs On 3-Year, $69 Million Max Deal

The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with wide receiver Stefon Diggs on a three-year, $69 million maximum value contract, including $26 million in guaranteed money. Diggs, who most recently played for the Houston Texans, is recovering from a right ACL tear he sustained on October 27th. Despite this injury, he is expected to return to full health and serve as the Patriots' number one wide receiver, with the team anticipating his readiness for Week 1 of the upcoming season.

In the 2024 season, the Patriots' receiving corps ranked 28th in the league, registering a total of 161 receptions for 1,723 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. The addition of Diggs is expected to significantly bolster their offensive output and help elevate their passing game.
