Dr. Marty Makary Confirmed As Food And Drug Adminstration (FDA) Chief

Dr. Marty Makary, nominated by former President Donald Trump to lead the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. The Senate voted 56-44 to invoke cloture, paving the way for his final confirmation.

Dr. Makary is a former professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and has previously served as a medical contributor for Fox News.
